During the month of March 2017 Axencia Turismo de Galicia and S-Cape Travel Agency will deliver 3 training courses about Accessible Tourism in Galicia and Castilla y León. These courses will be addressed to stakeholders involved in touristic activities such as tourist accommodation owners, restaurants, active tourism companies, tourist guides, travel agencies, tour operators, and other experts in tourism.
The aim of the courses is to raise awareness and train tour operators in various aspects related to universal accessibility. The courses will also provide information about how to make tourist facilities accessible and see accessible tourism as a business opportunity.
Although the training courses are opened to all professionals in the tourist sector, is specially addressed to those who develop their activities along the Way of St. James.
The training course duration will be 15 hours divided in two days. They will have thematic modules that will combine theoretical and practical activities where the experts will present public and private initiatives aimed to the promotion of accessible tourism.
